রাকিবুল হাসান, ঝিনাইদহ শহরের চকলাপাড়া এলাকার আবু বকর সিদ্দিকীর ছেলে, ১৯শে জুলাই শুক্রবার রাতে গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে মারা যান। ঘটনার দিন রাত আনুমানিক সাড়ে ৯টার দিকে মিরপুর ১০ এলাকায় একজন নারী পথচারীকে বাঁচাতে গিয়ে তিনি গুলিবিদ্ধ হন। তাকে মিরপুর-৬ এলাকার ডাঃ আজমল হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়, সেখানে ডাক্তর তাকে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন। রাকিব লন্ডন ভিত্তিক বহুজাতিক কোম্পানি টাইগার রিস্ক ম্যানেজমেন্টে কাজ করতেন।

Rakibul Hasan, son of Abu Bakr Siddiqui of Chaklapara area in Jhenaidah town, was shot dead on the night of July 19, Friday. On the day of the incident, around 9:30 pm, he was shot while trying to save a female pedestrian in the Mirpur 10 area. He was taken to Dr. Azmal Hospital in the Mirpur-6 area, where the doctor declared him dead. Rakib worked for Tiger Risk Management, a London-based multinational company.
