০৫ আগষ্ট দুপুরের পর পুলিশ উত্তরায় জনতার উপর গুলি চালায়। এতে পুলিশের গুলিতে শহিদ হন “আব্দুল কাদির (মানিক)”। আব্দুল কাদিরের বাড়ি চাঁদপুর জেলার ফরিদগঞ্জ উপজেলার মানিকরাজ গ্রামে। তার বাবা জনাব নুর মোহাম্মদ ও মা ফাতেমা বেগম। শহিদ আব্দুল কাদের (মানিক) এর বয়স ৪১ । পরিবারে তার স্ত্রী ও ৩ সন্তান আছে। শহিদ আব্দুল কাদের (মানিক) উত্তরায় একটি রড সিমেন্টের দোকানে কর্মরত ছিলেন।

After noon on August 5, police opened fire on the crowd in Uttara. Abdul Kadir (Manik) was martyred in police firing. Abdul Kadir's house is in Manikraj village of Faridganj upazila of Chandpur district. His father was Mr. Nur Mohammad and mother Fatema Begum. Shaheed Abdul Kadir (Manik) was 41 years old. He is died leaving his wife and three children. Shaheed Abdul Kadir (Manik) was working in a rod-cement shop in Uttara.
Cause
Shot dead by police.
