আমাদের স্বীকৃতি না পাওয়া 'রোহিঙ্গা' শহিদ নূর মোস্তফা। আন্দোলনে যেতে মানা করছিলো বলে মোবাইলে আবু সাইদের বুক পেতে দেওয়ার ভিডিও দেখায়ে বাবাকে বলছিলো, 'আবু সাইদ যদি জীবন দিতে পারে, আমাদের শত শত ভাই যদি দিতে পারে, আমি পারবনা কেন? আপনারা পড়াশোনা করেন নাই বলে জানেন না, এই জীবন দেওয়ার দাম কত!' ৫ আগস্ট সকালে লুকায়ে বের হয়ে যাওয়ার সময় দেখে ফেলা বন্ধুকে অনুরোধ করছিল, আন্দোলনে যে যাচ্ছে, বাবাকে যেন না বলে। সেদিন দুপুরেই কক্সবাজার ঈদগাঁ থানার সামনে নূর গুলি খায়, সেই পিঠের মাঝখান দিয়ে ঢুকে বুক দিয়ে বের হয়ে যায়। হসপিটালে নেওয়া হয়, ৬ তারিখ দুপুরে সেখানে শেষ নিশ্বাস ত্যাগ করে। শহিদ নূর মোস্তফার বাবা শফিউল আলম মায়ানমার থেকে বাংলাদেশে প্রবেশ করেন ১৯৯২ সালে, এরপর কক্সবাজার ইদগাঁ এলাকায় স্থায়ী বসতি গাড়েন। ১৭ বছর বয়সী শহিদ নূর মোস্তফার জন্ম বাংলাদেশেরই মাটিতে। স্থানীয় দারুস সালাম দাখিল মাদ্রাসায় ১০ম শ্রেণীর ছাত্র ছিল। তবু শুধুমাত্র তার বাবা মা রোহিঙ্গা হওয়ায়, তাদের জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র না থাকায়, শহিদের তালিকা থেকে নূর মোস্তফার নাম কেটে দেওয়া হয়। কোনো রাষ্ট্রীয় সম্মাননাও তার পরিবারকে দেওয়া হয়নাই। ফান্ড থেকে বঞ্চিত করা হইছে। শফিউল আলম বলতেছিলেন, 'টাকার প্রতি আমার লোভ নাই। কিন্তু নূর মোস্তফার জন্ম, পড়াশোনা তো এই দেশেই। সব সার্টিফিকেট আছে তার। শহিদও হইছে এই দেশের জন্য। অথচ আমার ছেলের নামটা শহিদের তালিকা থেকে পর্যন্ত মুছে দেওয়া হইল!' কার্টেসি: July Records

৫ আগস্ট ২০২৪ খ্রিঃ দুপুরে ১ দফা দাবি আদায়ের লক্ষ্যে গণভবন ঘেরাও কর্মসূচির সাথে সংহতি জানিয়ে কক্সবাজার জেলার ঈদগাঁও থানা এলাকার আন্দোলনকারী ছাত্র জনতা ঈদগাঁও থানার সম্মুখে আসলে পুলিশ আন্দোলনকারীদের লক্ষ্য করে গুলি ছুড়ে। এসময় একটি বুলেট নুরুল মোস্তফার বুক ভেদ করে চলে যায়। আন্দোলনকারীদের অনেকে তাকে দ্রুত মালুমঘাট খ্রিষ্ঠান মেমোরিয়াল হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যায়। পরের দিন সেখানে নুরুল মোস্তফা শেষ নিঃশ্বাস ত্যাগ করেন।

Nur Mustafa, the unrecognized 'Rohingya' martyr. Before going to the protest, he was showing his father a video on his mobile phone of Abu Sayed being shot in the chest, and saying, "If Abu Sayed can give his life, if our hundreds of brothers can give their lives, why can't I? You don't know the value of giving one's life because you didn't get an education." On the morning of August 5, when leaving secretly, he asked his friend not to tell his father that he was going to the protest. That day, at noon, Nur was shot in front of the Cox's Bazar Eidgaon police station, the bullet entering through his back and exiting through his chest. He was taken to the hospital, where he died on August 6 at noon. Nur Mustafa's father, Shafiqul Alam, entered Bangladesh from Myanmar in 1992 and settled in the Eidgaon area of Cox's Bazar. Seventeen-year-old Nur Mustafa was born on Bangladeshi soil and was a 10th-grade student at the local Darus Salam Dakhil Madrasa. However, because his parents are Rohingya and do not have national ID cards, Nur Mustafa's name was removed from the list of martyrs, and his family did not receive any state honors or funds. Shafiqul Alam said, "I am not greedy for money, but Nur Mustafa was born, studied, and became a martyr in this country. He has all the certificates, and yet his name has been removed from the list of martyrs!"
Cause
On the afternoon of 5 August 2024, the students of Eidgaon police station area of Cox's Bazar district came to the front of the Eidgaon police station to show solidarity with the program of besieging Ganabhaban for the purpose of 1-point demand. At that time, a bullet broke through Nurul Mustafa's chest. The agitators were quickly taken to Malumghat Christian May Mo Real Hospital. The next day, Nurul Mustafa breathed his last.
