মুসলিম উদ্দিন মিলন গত ১৯ জুলাই বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলন চলাকালে রংপুর নগরীর সিটি বাজার এলাকায় পুলিশ ও আওয়ামী লীগের নেতা-কর্মীদের সঙ্গে ছাত্র-জনতার সংঘর্ষের সময় গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে মারা যান। ঘটনার পরদিন ২০ জুলাই ময়নাতদন্ত ছাড়াই তার মরদেহ দাফন করা হয়। মুসলিম উদ্দিন মিলন নগরীর পূর্ব গনেশপুর এলাকার বাসিন্দা। তিনি নগরীর দেওয়ানবাড়ী সড়কের একটি জুয়েলার্সে স্বর্ণশ্রমিক হিসেবে কর্মরত ছিলেন।

Muslimuddin Milan was shot dead during a clash between students and people with police and Awami League leaders and activists in the City Market area of Rangpur city on July 19 during an anti-discrimination student movement. His body was buried the next day, July 20, without an autopsy. Muslimuddin Milan was a resident of East Ganeshpur area of the city. He was working as a goldsmith at a jeweler on Dewanbazar road in the city.
Cause
Shot dead. While crossing the road, he was shot in the chest.
